Genevieve: Well the petting zoo was closed, but the boats were available so we took full advantage and paddled our way around a pond filled with turtles and koi. I don’t think we were missing much at the petting zoo anyways; i saw a few forlorn looking rabbits, and some sad looking dogs.
Afterwards we walked to a nearby discount dept store and ate ramen and yaki soba (friend Japanese noodles) for lunch. We decided to buy Kenji a futon too, as he decided that he no longer liked sleeping in a crib. I guess he’s growing up!

Forlorn-looking rabbits and sad-looking dogs??? That sounds terrible. But the place looks beautiful in the photos. Oh, I WISH I could visit y’all! Maybe Erik and I should take our honeymoon to Tokyo and crowd into y’all’s apartment with you. Hhaahaha!!
